TrueCoach alternatives at a glance

Six TrueCoach alternatives that print prices past 50 clients are Trainerize, Everfit, PT Distinction, Kahunas, CoachRx and HubFit. TrueCoach's pricing page, read October 30, 2026, lists Starter at $29.98, Standard at $69.98 and Pro at $164.98 for up to 5, 20 and 50 active clients, all billed monthly. For more than 50 clients it says to email, so its cost past 50 is not on its page. Prices in the table are per month, billed monthly.

Trainerize: bands to 200 and Studio to 500

Trainerize prints its prices past 50 clients, billed monthly: Pro 75 is $180, Pro 100 is $225, Pro 200 is $250 and Studio Plus, for 500 coaching client seats, is $275. Pro 50 is $135. A seat band is the number of coaching clients a plan holds, so a 60-client roster buys Pro 75.

Trainerize's 30-day trial takes a full roster with no card, which helps when a TrueCoach account holds more than 50 clients. When the trial ends, Trainerize's pricing FAQ says the account moves to the free plan with 1 coaching client, and the other clients lose coaching access, so pick a band before day 30. Add-ons are not part of the trial. Trainerize vs TrueCoach has the plan-by-plan view.

Everfit and HubFit

Everfit Studio is $105 a month billed monthly for 50 clients and $135 for 75. Its free Starter plan covers up to 5 clients, and Meal Plans & Recipe Books, Payments & Packages and Autoflow are add-ons. TrueCoach vs Everfit compares those two apps.

HubFit Premium is $69 a month billed monthly for up to 100 clients, and Ultimate is $119 at 100 clients. For 100 clients, Premium costs less than the $150 Kahunas bills for 100 seats and the $225 of Trainerize Pro 100. Every HubFit plan starts with a 14-day trial.

PT Distinction, Kahunas and CoachRx

  • PT Distinction Master is $89.90 a month with 50 clients, then $1.60 a month for each client over 50. Its plans are monthly only, and extra trainers cost nothing.
  • Kahunas charges $2.00 a seat a month for 50 to 99 seats and $1.50 for 100 to 199, billed monthly. A seat is an active client or a team member, and Kahunas bills 100 seats, $150 a month, when that costs no more than the smaller count.
  • CoachRx charges $199 a month for 51 to 150 clients, billed monthly, or $169 billed annually as a twelve-month term paid in full up front. Above 150 clients it charges $249 a month plus $1.25 per active client, billed monthly.

Leaving TrueCoach: what you give up and what to pick

TrueCoach prints a 90-day money-back guarantee on annual plans for first-time subscribers, with restrictions. Trainerize's FAQ says it does not issue refunds for unused portions of a subscription, and Everfit's terms say no refunds will be granted. TrueCoach also offers a Custom-Branded Fitness App on Standard and Pro; PT Distinction includes branded apps in Pro and Master.

TrueCoach's help center, in an article dated March 22, 2023, says coaches can be added at no additional cost and the subscription counts the clients of all coaches together. PT Distinction adds trainers for free, CoachRx says there is no limit on coaches, Kahunas counts team members as seats, and HubFit includes team members only on Ultimate.

  • HubFit for up to 100 clients at $69 a month billed monthly.
  • Trainerize for bands up to 200 clients and Studio Plus up to 500, with a free Basic plan for 1 client to fall back on.
  • CoachRx for 51 to 150 clients at one rate, $199 billed monthly, with every feature included, it says.
  • TrueCoach itself at 50 clients or fewer, when the guarantee or the branded app matters more than the price.
