Try Trainerize →Annual billing: what each app prints
Annual billing lowers each monthly figure, and each app prints it its own way. Per month, billed annually against billed monthly:
- Trainerize Pro 30: $71 against $79, with add-ons still billed monthly.
- CoachRx, 6 to 50 clients: $67 against $79.
- HubFit Standard: $31 against $39.
- TrueCoach Pro: $136.99 against $164.98.
- Kahunas, 25 to 49 seats: $2.00 a seat billed yearly against $2.50.
- Everfit says annual billing saves 16%; PT Distinction prints monthly pricing only.
Trainerize labels each figure as an annual or monthly rate, so read the label before you compare.
Add-ons that change the total
Advanced Nutrition Coaching is $20 a month on Grow, Pro 5 and Pro 15 and $45 on Pro 30 and up, and Business is $25, all billed monthly. Trainerize's help center says Business contains Stripe Integrated Payments and Video Coaching, which its pricing page also sells separately at $10 each. A 30-client total with both add-ons is $149 a month billed monthly: $79 plus $45 plus $25, our arithmetic. Trainerize cost per client breaks the bill down by roster.
Take an online trainer with 12 paying clients on a free tool, deciding between Trainerize's Pro 15 band and Everfit before adding nutrition coaching. Pro 15 is $50 a month plus $20 for Advanced Nutrition Coaching, $70 billed monthly (our arithmetic). Twelve clients sit in Everfit's 20-client Pro step, priced on Everfit's page, with Meal Plans & Recipe Books at $39 a month on top. This page prices software features and is not nutrition, medical or legal advice.
Taking payments adds a line too: Everfit lists Payments & Packages at $9 and Trainerize lists Stripe Integrated Payments at $10, each billed monthly. Apps to sell workout programs compares the selling tools.
What counts as a client on each app
- Trainerize counts coaching client seats. Basic clients, who can book and buy but not use programs, take no seat; an Offline client does.
- Everfit does not count archived clients.
- TrueCoach counts active clients.
- Kahunas counts active clients and team members as seats; Trainerize vs Kahunas covers the model.
- CoachRx counts active clients only.
- PT Distinction includes 3, 25 or 50 clients per plan, then charges for each extra.
Which price model fits your roster
Bands and steps charge for the next ceiling: a 31st client moves Trainerize from Pro 30, $79, to Pro 50, $135. Seats grow with each client, and PT Distinction adds $2.40 or $1.60 a client past its included number. CoachRx stays flat from 6 to 50 clients. At 10 clients, Everfit's $29 step is the lowest figure in the table. At 30 and 75 clients, HubFit Standard and Premium are the lowest of the plans priced in the table.
- HubFit for the lowest plan price at 30 and 75 clients.
- CoachRx for one rate from 6 to 50 clients.
- Kahunas for billing by the seat.
- Trainerize for a free Basic plan and add-ons switched on one at a time. Its 30-day trial with no card lets you price a full roster before choosing a seat band; Trainerize's FAQ says the account then reverts to the free plan, and add-ons are outside the trial.
