Trainerize custom branded app: three versions

Trainerize sells its custom branded app in three versions, as read on October 30, 2026: the Pro app is a $169 one-time setup fee on a Pro plan, the Studio app comes with Studio Plus at $275 a month, billed monthly, and the Enterprise app is contact sales. Only the Studio and Enterprise versions get an App Store listing of their own.

What the Pro app changes and what it does not

The Pro app brands the icon, launch screen and top bar, and keeps the default in-app theme colors, so treat it as light branding. Android clients get a stand-alone app with its own Google Play listing. iPhone clients download the shared Trainerize app and see your branding after they sign in, and the iPhone home screen name stays "Fitness App".

The Pro app needs no Apple Developer account or D-U-N-S number, and it is not available on Grow, the free plan or the trial. Trainerize's help articles give its wait as 8 to 12 weeks, 12 to 16 weeks and up to 8 business weeks, so plan on 12 to 16 weeks, the longest. It has no preview before it is live and cannot move to another account, and dropping to the free plan removes the Android app.

What the Studio app needs from you

Trainerize's Studio and Enterprise requirements list a legally registered business, a business email that is not Gmail, Yahoo or Outlook, an Apple Developer account, a D-U-N-S number and an iOS device. Apple charges $99 a year for the Apple Developer account, paid to Apple. Trainerize says the app is typically live within 4 to 6 business weeks. Studio includes one round of revisions at no extra cost, and Enterprise three.

Preparing clients before the app goes live

An Offline client is one the coach manages with no login and no invitation email, and it still uses a coaching seat. Trainerize describes Offline clients as a way to set up profiles and programs before the branded app launches, then convert them.

No branded app comes with the 30-day trial. Per Trainerize's pricing page, the trial runs the standard app with unlimited clients and no credit card, leaves add-ons out, and reverts to the free plan (1 coaching client) when it ends.

Branded apps at PT Distinction, TrueCoach and Kahunas

PT Distinction includes your own custom branded Android and iOS apps on Pro at $59.90 and Master at $89.90 a month, billed monthly, while its Basic plan has no custom branding. TrueCoach's pricing page, read October 30, 2026, lists a Custom-Branded Fitness App on its Standard and Pro plans. Kahunas lists white label from its 200 seat band, $1.00 a seat a month, billed monthly.
