What Studio adds over Pro

Studio includes everything in Pro, plus 1-1 group video calls, custom recipes and meals, referral links and prospect booking, partner add-ons, personalized onboarding support and API access. Mindbody and ABC Glofox connections start at Studio Plus. Studio carries 500 hours of video calling and 5000 of video streaming a month, against 50 and 100 on the Video Coaching add-on for Pro.

Trainerize says the 30-day trial (unlimited clients, no card) leaves out the add-ons and branded app Studio includes, and that the account moves to the free plan at day 30.

The Studio branded app and what Apple charges

The Studio app gets its own store listings. The Apple listing sits under your own Apple Developer account, which costs $99 a year, paid to Apple. Trainerize's requirements article asks for a legally registered business and a business email, not Gmail. It is typically live in 4 to 6 business weeks, with one round of revision.

The Pro app differs: a $169 one-time setup fee on a Pro plan, an Android listing of its own, and for iPhone clients the shared Trainerize app with your branding applied after sign-in. The Trainerize custom branded app page sets the tiers side by side.

Studio Plus or Pro with add-ons: the arithmetic

Take a small studio owner with 75 hybrid clients who wants a branded app and video classes. Pro 75 is $180 a month billed monthly, plus the Business add-on at $25, which Trainerize's help center says contains Video Coaching and Stripe Integrated Payments: $205 a month, our arithmetic, plus $169 once for the Pro app. Studio Plus is $275 a month billed monthly with the Studio app and every add-on.

Video classes are where the plans differ. Trainerize's help center says a 1-hour call with 40 clients uses 40 hours of video calling, and the Video Coaching add-on includes 50 hours a month on Pro against 500 on Studio. Past 75 clients, Pro 100 at $225 with Advanced Nutrition and Business is $295, above Studio Plus. See Trainerize cost per client.

Pro 75 with Business suits a few 1-1 calls and a shared iPhone app. Studio Plus suits group classes and an iPhone listing of its own.

Who should pick Everfit Studio or Exercise.com

Everfit Studio starts at $105 a month billed monthly for 50 clients and is $135 for 75, or $88 and $113 a month billed annually. Its white label option sits on Enterprise, by contact. Pick Everfit Studio for 50 to 75 clients when a lower plan price matters more than a store-listed app.

Exercise.com sells software to run a whole fitness business and prices by quote only. Its pricing page lists custom-branded apps and done-for-you migration. Pick it for one platform across the business. The personal training software for small business page compares trainer seats across apps.
